Where are you holding the family reunion this year? Your house? "No," you're thinking, "it just isn't big enough." The local function hall? Nope, it's too impersonal. The town park? That doesn't work either. How do you keep track of everyone, especially the little ones? We have the perfect solution for you here at the Inn at Ragged Edge Farm. Our Inn is a rambling, spacious house with fourteen bedrooms and room for up to 50 overnight guests and 100 daytime guests. We are told the inn feels like a home away from home, and with exclusive use of the inn, you know that every guest you meet is part of your group.

We are a large family ourselves (32 of us in our immediate family) and understand the pleasures (and, yes, the occasional pains!) of family gatherings, What do we offer that will allow for a memorable and pleasure filled reunion?

We're accessible, yet private. The inn is centrally located in New Hampshire, just a short drive off I-89 or I-93, and sits on 50 acres of scenic woods, meadows, brooks and an expansive lawn.

We allow for as much "togetherness" as you desire. With the unique layout of the inn, there is plenty of room to be together and plenty of room to be apart. We understand that as much as you love your family that you may not want to be confined to one room all day with all of them. The inn has many different Great Room, an expansive 21' x 36' living room, which contains a fireplace, lots of comfortable furniture and a 71" big screen television with a DVD and video player. Imagine being able to share some laughs and reminisce over home movies here! If your children cannot imagine time away without their video games, feel free to bring the games and they can play on the large television. Close to and very visible from the Great Room is a Kid's Area that includes books, toys and a small television with built in video player and a large selection of G-rated movies.

The inn can be a base from which you day trip. Do you have avid golfers in the family? Ragged Mountain Golf Club and Ski Resort is 3 miles up the road, and the Country Club of New Hampshire is a short drive away. Any shoppers in the group? We are close to outlet shopping, and also to the distinctive shops of New London. Do you bicycle? Bring your own and travel some of the picturesque trails in our area.

If the weather turns rainy, your reunion does not have to take a turn for the worse. We know how awful it can be to have inclement weather turn a group of "happy campers" into a bunch of cranky pants. At the inn, you can enjoy small or large group board and card games, play Foosball, swim in the indoor pool, watch TV or a movie from our selection (or bring your own), read a book, do a puzzle, or simply enjoy catching up with your relatives over a great cup of coffee.

We enjoy and cater to families, and that includes the children. You have probably heard yours say something like "But, mom, reunions are soooo boring! There is never anything to do!" Here at the inn there is plenty to do inside and out, including croquet, bocce ball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton. Admittedly, the indoor pool is far and away the favorite spot for the kids! With a comfortable seating area that includes an indoor fireplace and the outside deck within sight of the pool, the adults can also enjoy themselves. And remember, swimming is not just for kids. When was the last time you played the aquatic version of "Marco Polo"?

The inn is exclusively yours for the extent of your stay. When you hold your reunion at the Inn at Ragged Edge Farm, you are our only guests. That means that if you want to pad out to the breakfast buffet in your robe and slippers, it's ok. If your family tends to laugh a lot and get noisy, that's fine , too. We want you to make yourselves at home.
